2024 Indy 500 best bets, props and sleeper predictions

We’ve finally made it to the best week of the year to be a racing fan. Formula 1 is in Monaco for the Grand Prix, NASCAR is in Charlotte for the Coca-Cola 600 and in the Racing Capital of the World, they’re running the 108th Indianapolis 500 on Sunday (weather permitting).

This year’s Indy 500 has no shortage of incredible storylines from Hélio Castroneves’ quest to win a record-setting fifth Borg-Warner Trophy to Katherine Legge’s journey as the only woman in the field.

Yet nothing has garnered more hype than Indy 500 rookie Kyle Larson‘s attempt at the Memorial Day Double — racing both the Indy 500 and NASCAR’s Coke 600 on the same day. Larson has become the most-bet driver to win the 500 at BetMGM (+675) while also the favorite (+500) to win the NASCAR race.

Here are our best bets for the Indy 500 and a little extra on how Larson will fare as he attempts to become only the second driver to complete all 1,100 miles of The Double in one day.
