Blazers, Wizards not interested in D'Angelo Russell

Finally, the last factor that’s affected each set of negotiations the Lakers have had is D’Angelo Russell’s reputation around the league. Portland has no interest in Russell, according to sources close to that situation. League sources also say Washington is wary of pairing Russell with fellow space cadet Jordan Poole. Toronto and Brooklyn are more open to acquiring the nine-year veteran, but more for his expiring contract than for what he’d do on the court.

A pair of winning combinations — Stephen Curry, LeBron James and Kevin Durant for Team USA, and Nielsen, Adobe, daytime, primetime and more than seven different networks for NBC — delivered in the ratings Thursday. Thursday’s United States-Serbia Olympic men’s basketball semifinal averaged a combined 7.9 million viewers across NBC’s various platforms, including 13.5 million for the second half, per Nielsen and Adobe Analytics. After last seasons disappointment of missing out on promotion there needs to be a discussion on
the tactics that DF used during the previous season. On reflection I think we used the same system no matter who we played and this was a big mistake in my opinion. There were games when the opposition just parked the bus, muscled out our quality players and hit us on the break.
