A world of magic and wonder

Growing up hearing stories from the book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and seeing the first movie adaptation of the novel at the age of eight, I thought the whole story made absolute nonsense and couldn’t grasp the whole concept of “Wonderland.” I thought it looked creepy based on the physical appearances of all its anthropomorphic and grotesque characters, and didn’t seem to understand how it was supposed to entice and entertain children with its gothic and disturbing animation.
