Exit poll results: how many parties entered the Kurultai
Tengrinews.kz — Exit poll results for the elections to Kazakhstan's Kurultai have been announced.
According to the first survey, five political parties are poised to enter the Kurultai. The data was released by the Institute of Eurasian Integration.
The exit poll results for the parliamentary elections to the Kurultai are distributed as follows:
Adilet Party – 71.8 percent;
Nationwide Social Democratic Party (OSDP) – 5.2 percent;Baitaq Kazakhstan Green Party – 1 percent;
People's Party of Kazakhstan (NPK) – 3 percent;
Auyl People's Democratic Patriotic Party – 6.4 percent;Ak Zhol Democratic Party of Kazakhstan – 5.1 percent;Respublica – 5.4 percent.
Against all – 2.1 percent.

Adilet Party – 72.3 percent;
Auyl People's Democratic Patriotic Party – 6.2 percent;Respublica – 5.2 percent;
Ak Zhol Democratic Party of Kazakhstan – 5.1 percent;Nationwide Social Democratic Party (OSDP) – 5 percent;People's Party of Kazakhstan (NPK) – 2.8 percent;Baitaq Kazakhstan Green Party – 0.9 percent;
"Against all" – 2.5 percent.
The exit poll was conducted using standard international methodology via face-to-face interviews.
Note: An exit poll is a survey of voters conducted immediately after they have cast their ballots. Interviewers typically stand outside polling stations and ask individuals which candidate or party they voted for. Participation is voluntary. Exit polls provide a preliminary snapshot of election results before the official vote count. However, these results do not constitute official election outcomes and may differ from the final figures.
To secure seats in the Kurultai, parties must receive at least 5 percent of the total vote.
The Central Election Commission will release preliminary and final election results at a later date. The final results will be announced by August 30.
August 23 – Election Day
Elections for deputies to the Kurultai were held in Kazakhstan on August 23. Citizens were asked to vote for parties competing for seats in the unicameral Parliament.
This follows the entry into force of a new Constitution on July 1, 2026, which was adopted via a national referendum on March 15. Subsequently, the Mazhilis and Senate ceased operations, and their deputies were dismissed.
The new Constitution establishes a unicameral Parliament, the Kurultai. It will consist of 145 deputies elected for five-year terms. They will independently elect the Speaker of Parliament and three Deputy Speakers.
