“We need to stick together” – Tokayev accepted credentials from ambassadors of several countries

Tengrinews.kz — President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev accepted letters of credence from the ambassadors of several nations, citing the Akorda press service.
The ceremony of presenting credentials to the Head of State by ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary from eight countries took place at the Palace of Independence in Astana.
In his welcoming remarks, the President emphasized Kazakhstan's commitment to a peaceful foreign policy course.

"Today is indeed an important day—both for you as representatives of your respective countries and for Kazakhstan. I am convinced that we must work together, as Kazakhstan is a peace-loving state. We pursue a balanced and constructive foreign policy. We strive to create favorable conditions for domestic reforms. I would like to assure you that the doors of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and government agencies, including the President's residence, will always be open to you, as we must stand together in this very restless and turbulent world," said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Credentials were presented by Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt Sameh Shehata, Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation Christine Honegger-Zolotukhin, Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia Marje Luup, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman Salah Jaboub, Ambassador of Hungary Ferenc Czombos, Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau Braima Embaló, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Joseph Olusola Idji, and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark Lars Thuesen.
