Cat Power still evolving in trip to Fillmore

Indie singer-songwriter Cat Power has released nine albums since emerging in the mid-’90s.

While she hasn’t released any new material in five years, fans of the 45-year-old rocker should enjoy what she brings to her upcoming show Sunday, June 18, at the Fillmore.

Cat Power has blamed stage fright for her notoriously idiosyncratic performance style — often filled with erratic behavior or abrupt detours in the music — but her trip to San Francisco comes at a point in her career embodied by a more orthodox stage persona.
