Raiders’ Marshawn Lynch receives 1-game suspension

The NFL suspended Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch for one game Friday for unsportsmanlike conduct following his ejection from Thursday night’s game against the Chiefs.

Lynch was ejected in the second quarter after he sprinted onto the field during a skirmish and made contact with an official. The league announced Lynch will be suspended without pay for the Raiders’ game against Buffalo on Oct. 29 and be eligible to return to the active roster Oct. 30. However, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that Lynch intends to appeal the suspension.
