European Central Bank leaves interest rates unchanged; focus on Draghi

The European Central Bank, as expected, left interest rates unchanged Thursday. The bank's refi rate stands at 0.05%, while the rate paid on deposits held overnight at the ECB remains at minus 0.3%. The rate on the bank's marginal lending facility remains at 0.3%. ECB President Mario Draghi will hold a news conference at the ECB's Frankfurt headquarters at 2:30 p.m. local time, or 8:30 a.m. Eastern. DAVOS (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said on Thursday that internationally brokered talks between Syria's government and opposition groups this month may be delayed by a day or two, but there would be no fundamental delay.
