Teen gets probation for threatening to use gun at school
(AP) — A Palisade teenager has been ordered to spend a year on probation for posting messages on Facebook threatening to use a handgun at her school in western Colorado.
The girl was expelled from School District 51 after Dec. 15 arrest for the threats against Mount Garfield Middle School in Clifton, but the judge ordered that she must submit to a formal threat assessment if she's accepted to enroll at another school in Colorado.
