Federal judge dismisses EEOC lawsuit against True companies

(AP) — A federal magistrate has dismissed a lawsuit filed by the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission against Casper-based True Oil LLC and associated companies that had alleged the companies discriminated against women employees by paying them less than men for equivalent work.

Rankin ruled the federal agency had failed to show that female employees were performing the same work as males who were paid more money.
