For 10 years, the Hood Internet has been twisting, mashing

For a decade now, the Hood Internet has been creating some of the most bizarre and oddly addictive mashups in dance music.

The time they mixed Whitney Houston’s classic “How Will I Know” with the funky undertones of Chromeo’s “When the Night Falls” for a song that they dubbed “When the Night Knows.”

Or when they decided to mix the rapper Future with the indie darlings Future Islands.

Aaron Brink and Steve Reidell will be celebrating 10 years of this as the Hood Internet on Friday, March 24, at Mezzanine — and it’s a pretty good bet you’ll have fun dancing to it.
