Post Op use the meds given to you as advised above - you will need them.
Morphine can give you constipation so ring your GP if it happens to you (dont wait).
Post Op recovery - listen to the Physios and take the pain. I pushed it and still have the benefit after 10 years. A friend lay on the sofa and has struggled since.
Recovery can be 4-6 weeks but took me about 10 before i went back to work.

Everything hinges on Tony Mowbray, hopefully he returns and we sign players suiting his style, whilst also balancing the squad. We need 3-4 centre forwards, new goal keeper, new centre halves and possibly new full backs. The playing style determines who we sign, I am sure that the recruitment team has identified targets but relegation may mean we lower our sights
Whilst football may have moved on and there are noises that we might be using a more data driven approach to the squad now...I had a quick look back on our squads from the 06/07 and 08/09 promotion campaigns.
Both squads had huge strength in depth, a variety of options up front who each contributed goals, experienced pros who came down with us or we signed, and the loan market was used well to bolster the squad/add creativity.
