Driving to work this morning and after navigating the notorious double roundabout in Cotteridge and heading towards Bournville spotted the massive Vile billboard that must have gone up overnight. Just plain pink and baby blue with prepared in the bottom right corner.

Obviously stuck my 2 fingers up at the monstrosity.

Then I spotted the best graffiti I’ve seen in a long while. Underneath “prepared” was “to go out in the group stage” bloody beautiful.

This is one of derbys worst ever squads. They were/are skint , had ownership turmoil, had to sell their best players and had Martin waghorn leading the line and still managed to win promotion.

We may get the odd dropped points to Stevenage /Exeter etc but this league is awful

Shirley Kebab house used to be the stop off on the way back from blues.
The tandoori chicken naan kebabs were a thing of beauty.
Used to get a bit impatient driving home from there and have a pick at it whilst driving.
Until the once the grease had gotten into the paper wrapping, and the whole thing fell out into my lap whilst driving down Gorcott hill.

A valuable lesson learned.

Haven't been there for years, apparently its not as good as it used to be.

I can see 3 or 4 , 23-26 year olds from somewhere obscure like the Belgium leagues being brought in , a couple of "seasoned" pro's from the EFL , a few young "prospects" from PL reserves/under 21's and 1 or 2 good younger players from below the championship and a MLS player or 2 to try to raise our profile in the states and i reckon at least 1 reasonably "big" signing .
