U.S. House can curb online sexual exploitation of children by passing this bill

The March 18 editorial describes Congress as a “largely ineffective body” in taking action to protect children online. "The big one, I missed it when he slammed it, but I reeled down to it," said Turner, king of fishing blues from shore at the cooling lake south of Seneca. "Out of the blue, it came in and slammed the bait."

That's big as in 30 pounds.

A man fought back but was stabbed during an attempted robbery on a CTA platform in the Loop early Monday, police said.

The man, 20, was standing on the platform in the 200 block of North State Street shortly after 1:30 a.m. when a person attempted to take property from him and he fought back, according to Chicago police.
